Can it be 6 months??

It is hard to describe how we are feeling these days. I think we are feeling like we are finding our places here.

When you move from a life and place and family to somewhere uncertain and different, it is a challenge. Not just in ministry, but in life. What we envisioned or thought would be, didn't always turn out that way.

Our youngest decided this wasn't for her and moved back to California. It was difficult to say the least, but she is struggling to find where God wants her, to be independent, etc. We felt she needed to make her own decisions, after all she is an adult. Turns out after a couple of months away, she will be moving to Scottsdale with a friend, about an hour and a half away from us.

Our son and daughter in law are doing great, still working for Disney and sharing a place with our oldest daughter. She continues working at CDF and starring in a local production in a couple of weeks.

We have been blessed to make a couple of trips to California to see friends and family, and we have a couple more planned. It has been an adjustment to be away from our kids, but God continues showing us why we are here.

We have been forming relationships with some new friends, both in town here and in San Carlos. Robert continues working on the homes we are building for the tribe and sharing with 3 Apache men who work with us. They continue to open up to him, slowly but surely, and he continues to share his life and Christ's love with them.

I have been helping Kara teach a parenting class for several months now and we are looking into expanding it into 2 classes, one for parents of older kids. We have been able to share with hurting parents, and answer any questions they might have. It has been a great way to start to build relationships.

3:18 had their first 4 teams of the season out to help us. We hosted our first Ministry Team in our home and it went great, crazy but great! We made some new friends and look forward to more teams this summer. We helped open 3:18's first office and found some gently used screen printing equipment to start a T-Shirt business we have dreamed about.

We have been humbled and blessed by the generosity of others. While our support has been less than originally planned (commitments are ending), we receive random checks from people and places we never expected. My work hours are also cutting back so we are trusting God in whatever He has next for us. I have no doubts whatsoever, He will continue to provide for us in miraculous ways! His blessings are abundant.

If you would like to meet with us, talk to us please let us know! We would love to tell you more about what God is doing here. Our contact info is here on this site.

Blessed to serve Him,
Liz
